Provide maintenance and preventative maintenance of facilities equipment and update related paperwork

Participate in selection, assessment and approval of subcontractors and vendors

Participate in housekeeping and safety

Help overseas operations in facilities related issues

Liaise with EHS department to ensure compliance with company and government safety and environmental regulations

Ensure department is functioning economically

Ensure continuous improvement in the facility department is being implemented

Involvement with mechanical, electrical and software related activities on manufacturing and office facilities

Be the technical assist for utilities including:

HVAC

Water plant

Compressed air equipment

Effluent treatment systems

Boilers

Electrical supply and lighting

Security and fire alarm systems

Installing new equipment

Keys to Success:Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

3+ years experience in facilities maintenance

Understanding of Siemens and Allen Bradley control systems

Electrical installations experience and qualification are highly desirable but not essential

Mechanical fitting / engineering experience

Experience working with boilers and HVAC systems

Experience of planned and preventative maintenance

Strong understanding of HSE relating to maintenance activities
