Serves as a mentor and acts as a liaison to internal and external customers in regards to Endocrine Testing.Job Duties
Schedules, triages, coordinates, educates, and delivers direct patient care in the Endocrine Testing lab.
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients.
Documents phone notes, treatments, testing, and procedures performed at the time of service for all endocrine testing patients.
Collaborates with inpatient pharmacy to ensure proper medications are available on testing days.
Collaborates with lab to make sure proper turnaround times for lab tests are followed.
Communicates with the DCC registration staff about special needs for endocrine patients, if necessary.
Collaborates with the Medical Director in developing and managing clinical protocols and interpretations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in nursing
2 years of experience in nursing in a health setting.
Pediatric IV skills.
Problem solving skills.
American Heart Association Basic Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
RN - Licensed Registered NursePA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
Preferred Qualifications
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support - State of Pennsylvania
