As a Scientific Software Support Specialist in our Information Technology division, you will play a crucial role in assisting our customers in effectively using our world-class Chromatography Data System (CDS) and Mass Spectrometry (MS) Software. What sets this opportunity apart is the chance to be part of a collaborative team dedicated to resolving customer issues and delivering flawless support.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Develop strong relationships with teams across various departments, including Software Development and Product teams.

Continuously learn about new technologies and stay up-to-date with our supported products

Engage in on-site visits to build strong customer relationships and address any concerns that may arise

Advocate for our customers, identifying mutually beneficial resolutions

Location: There is one position that is posted in multiple locations. Candidate would live in one of the upper 48 United States.Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to internal and external customers using our CDS and MS Software

Resolve software-related issues promptly and efficiently

Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure seamless product integration

Conduct on-site visits to build relationships and address customer concerns

Serve as a customer advocate, finding ways to enhance our products and offering feedback to the development team

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related field preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific software technical support for Chromeleon, Empower, ChemStation, Ardia Platform or similar platform.

Experience as a CDS Administrator or Super User

Proficiency in CDS or MS Software in an enterprise deployment

Solid understanding of Windows Server, Win 11, and Win 10 deployments

Knowledge of chromatography instrumentation and its usage in an industrial laboratory setting is advantageous

Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills

Emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction

Demonstrated ability to effectively organize tasks and manage time efficiently

Willingness to travel nationally and internationally, up to 20% of the time
