Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
-Assist with menu planning and development
-Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets food safety guidelines
-Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
-Maintain a clean and organized work area
-Follow proper food handling procedures
-Assist with meal preparation for catering events
Expectations:
-Knowledge of various cooking techniques and knife skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
-Ability to bend, stand for long periods of time, and lift heavy objects
-Punctual and reliable
-Ability to commute to Riegelsville, PA
Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years experience in a scratch cooking, casual-fine dining, fast paced commercial kitchen.
-ServSafe certificate preferred, but not required.
-Authorized to work in the United States
-Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and most holidays (we are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.)
