About Us
Steeped in history, the Riegelsville Inn was built in 1838 by the town’s founder, Benjamin Riegel. Situated across from the iconic Roebling Bridge in the quaint town of Riegelsville, Pennsylvania, this historic gem combines old-world charm with modern hospitality.
The Riegelsville Inn is a go-to spot for upscale casual dining at its finest. Nestled along the canal and overlooking the Delaware River, the Inn offers a range of dining experiences, from cozy fireside tables to a second-floor balcony with stunning river views. The menu features top-notch creative cuisine, where every dish is made from scratch and features unique ingredient pairings that make each meal memorable.
Basic Responsibilities
-Taking food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
-Serving food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
-Preparing and mixing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to recipes
-Maintaining a clean and organized bar and dining area
-Handling cash and credit card transactions
-Ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any concerns promptly
-Collaborating with kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service
-Adhering to all health and safety regulations
Minimum Qualifications
-Previous experience as a server or bartender in upscale-casual restaurants
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Excellent customer service skills
-Knowledge of craft beer, wine, and liquor
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
-Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation:
-Tipped Hourly Wages:
Servers: $2.83 per hour
Bartenders: $5.15 per hour
-Average Hourly Pay (after tips):
Approximately $30 per hour.
