We are currently seeking a caring and experienced live-in caregiver to support an elderly individual with dementia. Job Responsibilities:
Provide compassionate care and support for an elderly individual with dementia
Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders
Monitor the individual's health and report any changes to the Care Manager
Engage in meaningful activities to stimulate cognitive and emotional well-being
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the client
Provide transportation to appointments and outings as needed
Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with dementia
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be 18 years of age or older
Ability to pass a background check
Compassionate, patient, and reliable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting and mobility assistance
Willingness to live in the client’s home and provide ongoing care
