Barker & Barker Paving Inc, a well-established Lehigh Valley based Paving and Concrete company, is looking to add Heavy Equipment Operators for the 2019 construction season. Over the years we have paved the way for literally hundreds of public and private projects. We approach each project with a dedication to safety and efficiency.
Background Requirements and Duties:
Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial asphalt paving or site construction
Ability to properly and safely operate a diverse line of equipment such as milling machine, excavator, dozer, backhoe and roller
Able to listen and follow direction from Jobsite Supervisor and fellow employees
Must be responsible and have pride in workmanship
Must be on time and able to work overtime and weekends when necessary
Adhere to company policies
Responsible for daily maintenance of equipment including pre-start inspection, checking fuel, oil and water levels, lubrication, keeping machine clean and in good operating condition
Must have a valid PA Driver's License
Must be able to pass a criminal background check as well as medical and drug screening
