CNC Lathe Technician Position: Primary responsibilities include CNC and manual turning. Essential duties include setting up and running parts and test specimens in CNC and manual lathes, maintaining traceability of materials and parts, troubleshooting problems, and assisting with maintaining shop equipment. 2-5 years of turning experience and working knowledge of other machine shop equipment preferred. Experience with editing programs and adjusting speeds and feeds is a plus. This position requires excellent attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to process work in a fast paced environment, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. This position also requires prolonged standing, ability to run up to 3 machines at a time, the ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry up to seventy-five (75) pounds. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years experience with a solid background in operating Okuma CNC Lathes, Mori Seiki CNC Lathes and manual lathes. Position is full-time on our 2nd shift 2:30pm-11pm M-F.
