Job description
Supervision of Union workforce in a foundry environment.
Support, motivate and coach work force to maintain a productive work environment.
Investigate accidents and administer safety policies and procedures.
Set up daily work from production schedule.
Job requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience 3+ years’ experience in foundry and or manufacturing environment.
Experience in a foundry a plus.
Strong verbal and communications skills.
Ability to lead others.
Ability to operate or learn to operate equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Be able to read and write English (necessary).
Have good math skills.
Must have valid driver’s license with clean record.
Be able to pass a background check.
