Rutledge Home Improvement, a long established (Chalfont 18914) construction/remodeling company, is looking for a tradesman/helper to join our team. We are looking for a journeyman level employee to fill this full-time position. We do everything from small maintenance/repairs to bathroom and kitchen remodels to ground -up additions and buildings. Ideal candidate would be self motivated , detail oriented, reliable and have a general knowledge of carpentry/construction.
At Rutledge Home Improvement, you will have steady (we are typically 5-6 months out), year round work and the majority will be in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Applicant should possess:
A valid driver's license
Basic carpentry tools
The ability to follow verbal and written instructions
The ability to make accurate measurements
A willingness to learn and expand your skillset
The ability to adapt to changing work priorities
Beneficial skills:
Proficient with hand and power tools
Excellent mathematical skills
General tasks you can expect to perform/learn:
Framing and carpentry
Trim/finish carpentry
Demolition
Window and door installation
Decking and railings
Drywall/finishing
Tiling/grouting
Cabinetry installation
Basic electrical
Basic plumbing
Flooring installation
Basic siding and roofing

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
