We have immediate opportunities for HVAC installers to join our team.
Job Responsibilities Will Include:
Residential:
Communicate with supervisors regarding job layout and project status on a daily basis
Obtain and maintain required certifications
Install, connect and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools
Comply with all applicable standards, policies and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues and stokers, following blueprints
Cut or drill holes in floors, walls or roof to install equipment using power saws or drills
Fabricate, assemble or install duct work
Frequently work overhead while using hand or power tools (drill, reciprocating saw, circular saw, etc.)
Maintain balance while standing and working on a six foot stepladder
Work off an extension ladder as necessary for roof access
Utilize safe working practices while using hazardous chemicals and materials (refrigerant, nitrogen, oxygen-acetylene, fiberglass)
Work in hot, humid or cold conditions
Work in attics, basements or crawlspaces
Perform simple math equations for weighing refrigerant or charging equipment
Lift and/or carry duct work and machinery 25 to 200 lbs. (indoor / outdoor units)
A working knowledge of electricity and refrigerant theory, as well as safe brazing practices, ladder and hand tool safety
Possess a firm understanding of generally accepted building practices and how they relate to the HVAC trade
Commercial:
In addition to the above
Installation of smoke detectors and economizers following blueprints
Fabricate, assemble or install 4 bolt and spiral sheet metal duct as well as slip and drive
Installation of commercial kitchen hoods and exhaust fans
Ability to operate a scissors lift or boom lift
Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling
Ability to do complete test and start-up of commercial gas/AC and heat pump systems
Knowledge of VRF's, VAV's, and ERV's

Requirements:
Clear background check
