Central Transport, one of the leading transportation and logistics firms in the nation, is seeking Construction and Facility Maintenance crew members to be based out of our facility in Bath, PA.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Extensive travel to company owned facilities for general dock and facility repairs
- Operation of company trucks to transport supplies and equipment
- General welding: dock plates, dock bumpers, etc.
- Concrete and paving work
- General construction work including basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC skills.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 3-5 years general maintenance repair/troubleshooting
- 3-5 years of general steel welding experience (strongly preferred)
- Ability to operate a variety of construction/facility maintenance equipment
- Current Class A CDL is preferred but not required
All necessary tools and equipment provided by the company.
Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen and physical in addition to having a clean driving history.
This full-time position offers competitive pay (based on experience), overtime, benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, and life insurance.
The position also includes $30/day per diem while traveling , an expense account for fuel and/or business related purchases, as well as mileage reimbursement based on company policy.
