HTSS, Inc. is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for a brewery in Breinigsville, PA!
5:45am-2pm
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Temp to perm at 90 days
Summary:
The Distribution Dispatcher will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative activities of the warehouse operations. The position will be responsible for performing all administrative functions associated with shipping and receiving, storage of material, and inventory systems. Assists in the maintenance of the SAP database and coordinates shipping activities with the third party logistics supplier.
Responsibilities:
Studies shipping schedules, order schedules and other records to determine shipping priorities and work assignments in order to meet shipping and receiving requirements.
Maintains drop trailer board and does periodic yard checks of trailers. Assigns dock doors to drivers.
Assigns doors for inbound and outbound loads according to product location.
Coordinates with Production and QA on material needing to be unloaded.
Directs truck jockey in trailer moves.
Works within SAPB system to check inventory, print pick sheets and Bills of Lading (BOL) for shipments
Works in SAP to electronically receive inbound materials.
Ensures proper products are loaded on outbound orders.
Ensures proper forms and procedures are followed; i.e. OS&D forms, Change of location forms, etc.
Completes shipping order forms for orders to be returned.
Coordinates inbound with on-site Security to ensure proper pick-up times are maintained.
Assigns partial and mixed pallets manually to orders.
Notifies and coordinates with railroad for required rail cars. Configures rail pattern on rail cars.
Obtains carriers for LTL shipments.
Answers all inquiries from carriers concerning times, trailers, loads, etc
Proficient in operation (or ability to learn) WMS/TMS/and/or shipping manifest system.
Competent in using SAP, Microsoft Office, including MS Work, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
