As a team member with Lakeview Terrace, you will provide services to our residents that call LVT home. Facility Name and Address: Lakeview Terrace Retirement Community 331 Raintree Drive Altoona, FL 32702 Purpose: Assist the Executive Director & Assistant Executive Director in daily tasks, duties, and projects. Essential Duties:
Assist in the supervision of Community Receptionists including the preparation of work schedules. Assist in hiring new receptionists.
Supervise all aspects of maintaining and updating records related to the Community and Health Care Center census and occupancy.
Perform Notary work as required.
Type purchase orders for replacement needs exceeding $1000, and give to the Executive Director for signature.
Assist in monitoring Maintenance work orders of TELS system and produce reports.
Assists with preparing contracts for DSI manager signature, completes summaries of contracts for billing and GL, prepares guarantee letters for signature, mails contracts and attachments to residents, and assists marketing in any other needs or tasks
Once residents are moved in, sends the contracts to DSI for filing. Assists DSI in obtaining any records necessary for the Office of Insurance Regulations.
Attend all required in-services and trainings, all staff meetings. Report to work on time as scheduled, adhering to the attendance policy.
Project a professional appearance and a willing, positive and courteous expression in performing tasks. Cooperates with fellow workers, supervisors, residents, visitors, etc. in performing tasks.
Required Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED.
For purposes of effective communication with residents, families and staff must be able to see, hear, speak, read and write English.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher.
Must be able to type 50 words per minute.
Maintain ability to stretch, push, pull, kneel, reach, twist, lift unassisted at least 50 lbs and walk or stand up to eight hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred two years geriatric experience in a long term care setting.
Hourly Rate:
$18.00 - $23.40
