Work for an industrial service contractor operating in Western Pennsylvania with its primary office in Punxsutawney. We specialize in service to power generation, chemical, and manufacturing industries. We are looking for a Construction Accountant to support current operations and future growth plans.
The Construction Accountant is an important position that works with everyone including project managers, trade employees, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
All facets of Accounts Payable (issue Purchase Orders, record invoices, pay vendors)
All facets of Accounts Receivable (issue invoices, track aging, record and match payments)
Payroll (review time entry, process payroll for average of 50 employees)
Project Accounting (create projects and code costs and revenue)
Collaborate with the team to manage day to functions of the office.

Required skills and qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred or a combination of education, training and experience.
Proven experience in construction accounting.
Proficiency with construction accounting software “Foundation” a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with project managers, vendors, and contractors.
