Description We are offering a contract for an Accounts Payable Specialist position in Aston, Pennsylvania. This role is within the education sector, and you will be expected to effectively manage a variety of accounting functions, utilizing your skills in account coding and accounting software systems.Responsibilities: Efficiently process purchase orders to ensure smooth business transactions Handle invoice management, ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and recorded Perform check cutting duties as part of the accounts payable process Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy in financial records Verify orders to maintain the integrity of financial transactions Handle 1099 forms, ensuring accurate and timely completion Utilize accounting software systems to perform various accounting functions Maintain a comprehensive understanding of account coding procedures Ensure the accounts payable process is carried out efficiently and effectively. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems such as Quickbooks, Oracle, or SAP In-depth understanding and experience in Account Coding Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions, particularly in Accounts Payable (AP) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
