Are you a hands-on professional with a passion for mechanical and electrical testing? We are seeking an Electrical/Mechanical Test Technician to join our client’s team, supporting the engineering department in product development, sustainment, and certification efforts. You will play a key role in conducting electrical tests, assembling products, maintaining lab efficiency, and ensuring safety standards are met.Job Title: Electrical/Mechanical Test TechnicianLocation: Beaver, PAWhat’s the Job?
Perform electrical testing on distribution products, ensuring adherence to industry standards and product development goals.
Accurately record and deliver test data to project engineers.
Maintain a 5S-compliant lab environment, contributing to organizational efficiency and safety.
Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery of test results.
Share expertise and provide guidance to other technicians to enhance team knowledge and capability.
Basic Qualifications:
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred: Associate Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Technology (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
Position Criteria:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using and understanding test equipment and adhering to procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with word-processing and spreadsheet software (up to 50% of daily tasks).
Skilled in the use of hand tools for assembly and wiring of test devices (up to 80% of daily tasks).
