Do not miss out, apply today to be part of our team!DESCRIPTION OF WORKYou will be responsible for conducting standardized on-road examinations to assess the skills and competence of non-commercial driver license applicants in a safe and courteous manner. Evaluate physical conditions, driving qualifications, and vehicle mechanical conditions according to established guidelines. Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles, checking for safety features and applicant's knowledge of vehicle controls. Review applications, registrations, and permits for any irregularities or fraud. Administer CDL and non-CDL knowledge examinations to test applicants on motor vehicle code and traffic signs comprehension. Assess practical demonstration of motor vehicle operation and adherence to road rules. Conduct vision tests and strictly adhere to the Driver and Vehicle Services Customer Service Policy.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Driver License Examiner Assistant (commonwealth title);or
Two years of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.
Special Requirements:
All positions require an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent and twenty-one years of age at the time of application.
All positions require no suspensions or revocations of a driver's license during the five-year period immediately preceding employment.
All employees in this job hired after February 28, 2022, are required to obtain an active unrestricted Class M driver's license within the first six months of employment
or before the end of the probationary period and maintain it during employment.
