Description We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team based in BLUE BELL, Pennsylvania. This role is situated within the Import/Export industry and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for a range of tasks including processing customer invoices, managing customer onboarding, and assisting in the financial close process. Responsibilities: Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure accuracy Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on account status Assist with the financial close process on a monthly basis Use accounting software systems to manage and analyze financial data Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Onboard new customers, ensuring all necessary information is collected and correctly input into the system Use intermediate Microsoft Excel skills to manage and analyze financial data Assist with other accounting duties as needed.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services Experience with Ceridian and Concur Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning Ability to perform a variety of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Skills in Auditing Experience in Billing Functions Must be able to work in the Import/Export industry Prior experience as an Accounting Specialist is preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
