This individual is required to have experience in supporting business development, have experience expanding client relationships to include larger scope of work and have worked through commercial package offerings with such key accounts.The mission of this position is to forge partnerships internally at ICON and externally with key accounts to provide portfolio-wide leadership of the account, work alongside our clients to provide new and innovative solutions to their challenges and help them bring important new drugs to market for the patients we jointly serve.What you’ll be doing:

Managing governance oversight of key accounts for the ICON Medical Imaging and Cardiac Safety Solutions

Supporting business development account executives with proposals, bids, capabilities and strategy based on key account needs and new customers to the business

Involved with the development of key account growth targets in both imaging and cardiac areas

Contributing to the development of governance oversight tools, practices and standards in alignment with key account requirements and preferences

Establishing new key accounts based on business alignment to new customer needs and pipeline

Supporting project management and other functional areas on risk and escalation management and communication of mitigation strategies to key account leadership

Responsible to identify strategic areas for collective business process improvements aligned with key account recommendations and competitive market knowledge and awareness

Awareness of financial health of key accounts and taking action as needed to monitor and maintain financial strength between organizations

Supporting financial discussions and negotiation for in and out of scope requests as required

Overseeing external vendor partners and monitoring quality and contribution to IMC business and IMC sponsor partners

Your profile:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent as above

Previous experience in clinical research is preferred

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external key leaders

Strong negotiation skills to manage expectations that benefit both IMC business and the customer needs

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Proven Client Relationship Management Experience

History in Project Management

Awareness of Imaging and Cardiac process and endpoint support

Experience with business development supporting requests for proposals, bid defense facilitation and presentation, commercial package review and negotiation

Experience with external vendor management

Understanding of financial business management
