Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Oracle Reports Developer in the Engineering industry based in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The Oracle Reports Developer will be integral to our team, focusing on designing, developing, and maintaining custom reports using Oracle tools. This role operates within a collaborative environment and may involve occasional travel for data gathering, training, or industry events.Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom reports using Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle OTBI. Collaborate with business users to understand and analyze their reporting requirements. Support the Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing of custom reports. Performance Tune custom reports as needed to ensure optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve any report-related issues raised by end users. Develop and maintain documentation for all custom reports, ensuring clear and concise understanding for all users. Deploy and schedule custom reports using ESS, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy. Work closely with other team members to ensure the timely delivery of reports. Utilize strong SQL and PL/SQL skills in the development and maintenance of reports. Leverage knowledge of Oracle subject areas and Fusion BI Security model for effective report development. Requirements Proficient in Oracle Reports, Oracle Fusion, Oracle Cloud, and Oracle BI Publisher Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems Familiarity with Oracle Fusion HCM Strong knowledge of Power BI Degree in Engineering or a related field Proven experience as an Oracle Reports Developer or similar role in the Engineering industry Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in Oracle development.
