Project EngineerJob Responsibilities:
Design, install, commission, and test new equipment and upgrades, including capital projects.
Supervise and direct external resources as needed.
Recommend and oversee modifications to enhance the reliability, quality, and productivity of site equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and management to develop and implement solutions to recurring issues, ensuring their effectiveness.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, equipment, and maintenance.
Lead and assist in troubleshooting and resolving unplanned downtime issues.
Guide and support technicians in troubleshooting industrial hydraulic/pneumatic systems, vacuum/water pumps, material handling systems, and other plant and furnace electrical systems.
Mentor mechanical engineers, providing guidance on design concepts and principles, and assisting in resolving complex design issues.
Prepare reports documenting operational performance, achievements, projects, training, and maintenance activities.
What we're looking for:
BS in Electrical Engineering.
6+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer.
Extensive experience in heavy industrial environments, metals manufacturing,

First shift: 8am - 5pm.
Work will be both in the office and in the mill
The mill environment is loud and hot, requiring PPE to enter .
