Position Title:Legal, Tax & Policy Operations Manager or Director (P3 or M4)Title and grade level will be determined commensurate with experience.Role
The position will work closely with the Leadership Team of the of Legal, Tax and Policy Group and business stakeholders at all levels of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and implementing effective, scalable tools, technologies, and processes to ensure effective operations in a high-growth environment. The role is also responsible for effective change management.Responsibilities
Drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results
Standardize and automate manual processes to improve workflows, knowledge sharing and collaboration
Collect and analyze financial and other relevant data from department tools and industry resources; define objectives to provide metrics and dashboards that drive efficiencies and optimize spend; leverage data to make stronger business decisions
Leverage best practices across the legal functions and collaborate closely with other business lines (including sales, operations, IT, and finance) to develop and produce reporting that drives increased financial visibility and accountability
Provide creative thinking to help identify and develop cutting-edge strategies for increasing value and reducing outside legal spend while maintaining high standards for legal support
Identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance, retention and employee experience
Recommend strategies to raise the profile of the Legal team in the company, industry and community
Responsible for other projects, plans and initiatives as determined by the General CounselExpectations

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in business or finance,
JD and/or MBA preferredExperience/Minimum Requirements
7+ years of relevant legal operations or similar strongly preferred
Excellent planning and organization skills and proven ability to plan projects, develop milestones, and meet deadlines while working with multiple stakeholders, both within and outside the Legal & Compliance department
Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint Online sites
Demonstrated PowerBI skills
COGNOS reporting experience a huge plus
Business analysis/requirements gathering skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel; advanced proficiency in developing briefs and reports with PowerPoint
Experience with e-billing and matter management software (Passport specifically would be a huge plus)
Strong experience in developing, implementing, and using legal department technology solutions
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills
Ability to build relationships and influence others across a geographically dispersed, complex environment
Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines
Ability to direct the diagnosis of workflow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
Knowledge of and ability to apply standard business process analysis and management methods to identify and address improvement opportunities

On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.
