General Production Worker in Carlisle, PA!Job DescriptionIndividuals will be working with glass, ensuring that the machine is locked, printing tags, and paying close attention to detail. Under the direction of the Wareroom Supervisor, this position is responsible for the processing of the continuous ribbon. This includes operating automatic packing equipment, stacking, and overhead cranes, as well as mobile equipment and hand tools to process the ribbon into containers and handle zoning. Assisting other departments or plant personnel during emergency situations may also be required.Responsibilities
Operate automatic packing equipment, stacking, and overhead cranes.
Utilize mobile equipment and hand tools to process the ribbon into containers.
Ensure proper handling and zoning of materials.
Record production information as required.
Maintain good housekeeping, paint, and dispose of trash and cullet.
Meet safety and housekeeping requirements as specified in plant and department manuals.
Utilize quality improvement processes in all job duties.
Respond to changes in product mix and line flows to assist other team members.
Provide relief for other team members during appropriate break times.
Respond to emergencies as necessary.
Essential Skills
Attention to detail

Experience in warehouse operations
Experience with packing, forklift, inspection, and production.

Will being working 1st & 2nd shift - Rotating each week.

$23.46 / Hour (Weekly Pay)
