As an employer of choice we offer physical, emotional, financial and professional benefits including 401K, disability insurance and paid holidays.As a member of the Martin's family, the Training & Development Intern is responsible for maintaining satisfied clients by delivering assistance and administrative support to the Training & Development Team on various projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Performs research, and develops solutions to assigned projects and tasks related to the Training function. Tracks progress, deadlines and priorities of all projects assigned.

Assist with content design and program management of select training & development programs.

Assist with logistics for roll outs of training & development initiatives (scheduling, organizing, etc.).

Audit company learning management system (LMS) to align with training & development programs.

Assists in assigning on-boarding new employees, developing new programs, and increasing employee communications with the facility.

Performs process analysis for current Training and Development processes and procedures.

Suggests potential alternatives to improve efficiency and timeliness; i.e. LMS, Training record keeping, etc.

Tactical duties as needed; i.e. filing, distribution, department communications, etc.

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Language Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.Education and/or Experience:·High School Diploma or GED;·Currently attending accredited institution majoring in HR Management, Business Administration, Education or other Training related field.Mathematical Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.Reasoning Ability:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Computer Skills:·Knowledge of Human Resource Information systems.·Internet.·Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software.·Electronic mail.·Learning Management SystemPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
