We seek a dedicated individual who will monitor and maintain proper operation of the ferrous recovery and conditioning system. This individual will be responsible to operate Excavators with magnet and claw attachments, Trommels, Frontend Loaders, Skid Steers, Man lifts, Lull's and Forklifts. Responsibilities consist of the operation and preventative maintenance of rare earth magnets, belt conveyors, motors and gearboxes, vibrating pans, grizzlies, screw conveyors, ECS magnets, drag conveyors, pug mills and PLC control center operation.
Specific responsibilities are ensuring proper operation of the Trommeling and Excavator Magnet separation of Ferrous Material, assisting other operating personnel as necessary to support plant operations, and maintaining and monitoring of the entire ash conveyor system.Position Requirements:A HS diploma /GED is required. In addition, the mechanical ability to perform preventative and corrective maintenance including gearbox and motor change outs, conveyor belt change outs, screen and spring replacements, structural weld repairs and proficient in the use of an Oxy-Acetylene torch.
Skill in the operation of mobile equipment i.e., excavator trommels, skid steers, forklifts, and large front end loaders. Minimum of 3 years mechanical/operation of heavy industrial equipment. Understanding and proficient in operation of hand tools, power tools rigging skills and preferably SMAW/ MIG welding.
Strong Mechanical aptitude and SMAW structural weld certification a plus.Physical Requirements:

Qualify to wear a full-face respirator
