The purpose of the Accounting Clerkâs position is to support the CFO and other accounting associates in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department.  The duties of the position include but are not limited to the following: Analyze, verify and post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other recordsProcess accounts payable and accounts receivableSupport the monthly close process as neededPrepare account reconciliationsAssist with the preparation of monthly financial reportsPerform special accounting projects and analysis as neededMaintain files and documentation thoroughly and accuratelyAssist associates in other areas of accounting department as needed
