AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Philadelphia on October 7-8, 2026. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2027.The event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm, where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.On Thursday, interviews will take place at our Philadelphia office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern interested in joining the AECOM team in our Conshohocken, PA office.  The position offers the opportunity to gain experience on a variety of infrastructure projects, including the design of bridges and other transportation structures, such as walls and sign structures that are critical to our nation’s transportation network and vital to local communities.Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact. Interns work with cutting-edge technology, learn industry best practices, and collaborate with experienced professionals in a globally recognized firm. The program fosters both technical and professional skill development while providing networking opportunities that can enhance future career prospects. Additionally, AECOM’s dedication to innovation and sustainability enables interns to contribute to meaningful projects that help shape communities and the built environment.This position is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2027.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Applying technical training to perform basic calculations, work well in a team setting and be willing to work diligently to learn new skills.Assisting with tasks related to the design, analysis, rehabilitation, and inspection of highway bridges and ancillary transportation structures.Assisting with preliminary to final design calculations and plan development, reviewing of field information, possible field inspection of existing facilities.Assisting with general office administration, including technical report reproduction.
