We are committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workforce, reflecting the communities we serve.If you are ready to make a difference as part of the world’s greatest sports team, apply to join our team today!OVERVIEW:The Manager – Store Analytics manages the stores analytics portfolio to drive action and business strategy by partnering with various cross-functional partners (including but not limited to Store Operations, Field Leadership, Marketing, Technology, Loss Prevention and Supply Chain), with Store Operations as the primary stakeholder.You will be developing strategic analyses and occasional reporting to unearth insights and findings to inform action rooted in data, servicing ad-hoc analytics requests from Executive stakeholders. A key to this role is project management skills and the ability to prioritize across projects and requests to drive business value. The Manager – Store Analytics leads a small analyst team, and will be responsible for managing the workload, coaching, and educating teammates to excel in the store analytics space.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnalytics:

Synthesize myriad data sources (including but not limited to: sales data, operational productivity data, labor and payroll data, customer purchase and behavioral data, voice of customer feedback, homegrown technology solutions) into holistic narratives to address business opportunities and strategic direction, partnering with cross-functional business partners to drive action from analyses.

Manage inflow of analytics requests and projects, reprioritizing as needed in alignment

Perform and support detailed ad hoc, short-term and mid-term analyses on large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data to answer business questions and/or help inform strategic direction.

Stay abreast of industry trends with emerging analytical solutions and tools, competitive landscape solutions and headlines, and drive new analytics initiatives that contribute to business goals.

Lead the analyst team in prioritizing, framing, and presenting analyses, and educate the team on best practices and analytic patterns.

Reporting Solution Design & Data Collection:

Serve as the liaison of data and reporting & work with the analysts to drive adoption, usage and application to business processes.

Identify gaps in current reporting and proactively work to solve them, at times producing reporting to stakeholders.

Identify gaps in current data availability & proactively coordinate with necessary teams to integrate missing data.

Business Stakeholder Support:

Support ad hoc requests for analytics and ad hoc reporting as well questions from stakeholders about methodology or how to interpret a metric or trendline. The primary stakeholder is Store Operations, but cross-functional support and collaboration spans myriad departments including but not limited to: Field Leadership, Marketing, Technology, Loss Prevention and Supply Chain.

Support ad hoc analytics requests stemming from the Executive team in a timely and prioritized manner.

Lead formal and informal training sessions with client groups to enable business stakeholders to answer questions via self-service tools such as Intera (internal BI tool) and PowerBI.

Team Leadership & Development:

Manage an analyst or a team of analysts. Identify employee strengths and opportunities. Place each employee in the best position for them individually and the team as a whole to maximize value. Provide open and honest feedback on a regular basis. Train employees on knowledge gaps.

Manage workload of direct reports, leveraging teammate capacity and holding teammates accountable to deadlines and work standards.

Educate and train direct reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, marketing, liberal arts

3 - 5 Years of experience in Analytics, Market Research, Retail, Supply Chain.

SQL, R, Python, experience with BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI), GCP or Azure experience is preferred.

Ability to work at a detailed level while maintaining strategic vision

Comfortable interacting with various business stakeholders, gathering requirements and setting strategic vision of new projects.

Project management skills and experience juggling multiple fast-paced projects bent towards action and taking initiative; ability to work independently, with little direction and little follow up.

Understanding of cross functional retail processes.

Ability to story tell with data.

Targeted Pay Range: $83,000 - $138,200. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
