As part of the Global Supply Chain Solution Team, the candidate will preferably have a strong Supply Chain and/or technical background (i.e. mechanical, electrical, etc.) to purchase equipment and services. The candidate is an interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality and Sales Departments. An advanced level of spoken and written English is a must, and any additional language is a plus (Czech, Romanian, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish). Ability to travel within Europe (10 to 20%).Your Day-to-Day:

Support developing of sourcing & procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams. Identify and capture the demand, with identified potential suppliers and establish a communication channel towards the suppliers.

Support preparation and coordination of the RFx Process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services:

Analyze and evaluate all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify and obtain cost improvements. Develop strategies and tactics to maximize supplier base cost/value.

Support developing and maintaining extensive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders while mediating and resolving contract performance issues.

Understanding of supplier capacity, capability and manufacturing processes compared to project technical requirements in collaboration with Supplier Performance Organization.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and Westinghouses Procurement policies and procedures

Utilization of Best-Cost Country Sourcing, with emphasis on Central & Eastern Europe.

Operational Excellence: Develop and implement processes, Standard works within the organization.

Cross Functional collaboration: Build "the bridge" with the different department (Engineering, SPE, Global Procurement, internal stakeholders, suppliers) to develop a strong execution plan (E2E) in serving our customer on time.

Innovation & Digitalization: Scout the market to identify new technology that create value to the ended customer.Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

BA/BS/ME degree in business or engineering

Minimum 6 years of applicable experience required; 8 plus years preferred.

Strong Analytic experience & Good problem-solving ability and high attitude for ownership

Ability to maintain long term productive relationship with suppliers.

A team player collaborating with multiple regions & product lines to serve Westinghouse's customers.

Knowledge of European supplier base for the energy sector is a plus.

Microsoft Project & Primavera P6 expertise or similar systems a plus

Experience with large complex cross functional projects.

Global project management experience a plus

SAP & Ariba or similar system experience in a global environment is beneficial

Ability to travel up to 20%

Technical Aptitude: Ability to read multi-level BOMs and electromechanical drawing packages.Why Westinghouse?
