Read on for more details about this particular role.Responsibilities2nd Shift - 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm Monday through FridayStarting Pay Rate: $21.38/hrPay Grade HR130Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, PA manufacturing plant for a Production Technician I. In this role you will be counted on to perform the following tasks:
Assemble and test including set-up, moderately complex instruments and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering.
Produce customized instruments to customer specifications assemble to order.
Package and ship instruments according to OMS instructions.
Transfer material to shipping dock.
Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Ability to: understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices. frequently stand in a stationary position. lift, carry, push and pull up to 30 pounds without assistance. perform work that requires magnification. use power and hand tools, custom tooling and to operate a pallet jack. effectively communicate with various levels within the organization including training of new associates and temporary agency assignments. work independently with minimal supervision, and prioritize and organize work. work in a team environment. wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.
Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.
Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.
Must attain ability to perform SAP transactions. Education and Experience Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 months electronics manufacturing or other related experience Education and Experience Preferred:
Past soldering experience
