In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring outgoing shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, and safely. Your responsibilities will include inspecting and recording shipments, packaging orders for timely delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Inspect and record outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Verify the condition of all shipments and address any discrepancies or damages.
Package shipments securely to ensure safe delivery and on-time arrival.
Match packing slips to outgoing shipments to confirm order accuracy.
Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move goods.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
Lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds consistently.
Assist with any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of safety standards and a proactive approach to maintaining a safe work environment.
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehousing is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds consistently.
