Senior Project Controls Professional can expect to be responsible for the following:

Remote

Contract to hire opportunityResponsible to serve as a project controls subject matter expert for low-level complexity projects as assigned.

Lead project controls processes for low-level complexity projects or for a subset of moderate-level complexity project scope (e.g., work package).

Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Lead small teams which may include resources from schedule, cost and/or risk, through all phases of a project.

Project planning: For assigned projects, complete all aspects of the project controls process, which includes but is not limited to, developing and maintaining baseline project schedule, developing and maintaining baseline project cost structure, cash flow/Estimate-at-Complete (EAC) forecasts, budget and/or EAC reporting associated with project scope through project lifecycle.Developing and maintaining risk registers and earned value management system.

Project executing, monitoring and controlling:

Responsible for all aspects of project controls activities including scope, schedule, cost, risk, earned value assessment.

Process, monitor and track changes following an integrated change control process. Prepare project cost expenditure forecasts and progress evaluations/projections (including Estimate at Completion updates and Earned Value Management) to support project performance and financial reporting requirements.

Review project expenditures for compliance with project baselines and scope.

Promote teamwork and effective communication, which includes maintenance and dissemination of project metrics to ensure team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of project status. Develop or oversee project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and transmission of project performance information between project team members.

Support successful project execution and promote continuous improvements within the team:

Identify, assess, and implement value-added improvement opportunities which will improve overall project performance. Create and administer lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate for this position will possess the following:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management in Business, Accounting, or related technical discipline.

5+ years working experience

Strong experience working in SAP for cost networks

Experience using Primavera (P6) for scheduling software

Preferred Basic Power BI

Strong interpersonal communication skills to achieve cooperation with project participants.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Our Safety Pledge to You:

The PPM will be responsible for procurement activities related to purchase of specialized equipment, materials and services required to support the US BWR project. The PPM will be required to coordinate with all Supply Chain pillars including Supplier Performance Engineering, Category Managers and Operations to ensure the full supply chain scope is completed and delivered in accordance with project schedule requirements. The PPM will have a matrix reporting structure to both the Sr PPM Manager and the US BWR Project Managers. The PPM will be a project leader working with cross-functional teams and preparing standard work to build execution plans and providing project procurement status reports.
