Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Dispatcher role based in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The industry involves managing and coordinating transportation services, and the role requires a strong command of computer programs and excellent communication skills. The workplace will be onsite, providing a dynamic and interactive environment to perform your duties.Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage transportation services, ensuring efficiency and timeliness Utilize various computer programs including CRM and IBM AS/400 for managing dispatch activities Maintain clear and effective communication with customers and staff to ensure smooth operations Handle multi-line phone systems for inbound calls, addressing inquiries, and providing necessary information Utilize ADP - Financial Services for financial-related tasks and billing functions is a plus Regularly update and maintain accurate customer and management system records Answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and administrative tasks Balance and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.Requirements Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Proficiency in using Computer Programs is required Experience with CRM is necessary Knowledge of IBM AS/400 is beneficial Should have experience in using a Management System Familiarity with About Time software is a plus Ability to Answer queries effectively Experience in Answering Inbound Calls is beneficial Knowledge of Billing Functions is required Excellent Communication skills are essential No specific years of experience required, open to entry-level candidates Must be able to work in a team and independently Strong problem-solving skills are necessary Ability to work under pressure and manage stress High school diploma or equivalent is required.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
