We are seeking FULL TIME machine operator for a manufacturing company located near Downingtown, PA area. Some of the responsibilities include operating a cutting machine to cut the steel plate products, building skids to fit steel, and moving products with a forklift. Must have the ability to operate a forklift, read drawings, and measure using basic measuring tools. Minimum 6 months of experience operating a plasma machine.
Ability to operate a forklift.
Proficiency in reading basic drawings and using measuring tools.
Good mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience.
Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
Strong math skills including converting decimals to fractions and vice versa.
Experience working within a metal or wood shop operating a plasma machine.
Basic understanding of mathematics and measurements.
Fabrication and laser cutting experience is a plus.
