You will help teach children with patience and creativity. An assistant teacher duties include using the teachers daily plan and guiding activities and instructional methods to motivate children. Skills: Creativity Patience Writing Skills Instructional Skills Communications Skills Requirements: Follow a teaching plan. Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities Patience and flexibility Strong communication and instructional skills to explain new ideas and unfamiliar concepts in a clear and concise way so the students can understand and to keep their attention. Educational Qualifications A high school diploma CDA or any other coursework in child development or early childhood education.
