Develops individual achievement plans, evaluates progress to ensure student early retention and success in the program. Schedule is Mon to Fri 7:45am to 4:45pm MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISIONProvides supervision, instruction, training and support to Job Corps students in assigned classrooms/areas. RESPONSIBILITIESo Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.o Conducts effective classroom instruction and evaluates student performance.o Ensures Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals.o Provides remedial support and guidance for students to successfully complete the CPPrequirements.o Evaluates and assesses students readiness to transition to CDP.o Responsible to provide students with comprehensive and individualized case managementensuring student progress, retention and completion of the Job Corps program. Establishessupportive/mentoring relationships with students throughout their enrollment and providespersonal and career counseling.o Routinely evaluates and documents student performance using the case management system.o Coordinates pre-arrival activities to ensure effective transition to Center life including prearrivalphone calls, transportation to Center, folder review and needs assessments.o Coordinate new student processes to include introduction to Center staff, tour of the Centerand CPP welcome celebrations.o Ensures that CPP classes and areas are organized, clean, safe and conducive to student/staffsuccesso Produces quality work/assignments in a thorough, timely and accurate manner.o Maintains appropriate personal attendance, accountability and work productivity standards.o Plans, prioritizes and organizes assignments to meet established goals and deadlines.o Understands and applies job knowledge to effectively complete all required job responsibilities.Proactively maintains the skills required to perform job duties.Page 2 of 2This job description includes data that shall not be disclosed outside the Corporation and shall not be duplicated, used ordisclosed in whole or in part for any purposes.o Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.o Provides high-quality supervision and management for the student population. Follows up to ensureprompt/appropriate action is taken and that problems are in fact corrected.o Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision andservices are provided to students.o Accepts direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Managerto include assignments to temporarily perform job responsibilities of other departments andpositions.o Other duties as assigned. QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEAssociates degree from an accredited school required. Must possess a valid Drivers License and meet the Company insurability requirements.
