Fabricating, laying out, assembling, and welding according to shop drawings and specifications.
Miscellaneous metals layout, fitting, and welding, with a specific emphasis on MIG and Stick welding.
Required to weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions and must have a thorough knowledge of the tools and equipment utilized, including ironworkers, saws, plasma tables, and hand tools.
Involve working at heights, on a scissor lift, and in tight spaces.
Job includes both shop and field work.
Essential Skills
Experience with TIG, MIG and Stick welding on structural steel or miscellaneous metals
Experience in thin gauge metal fabrication and welding
Strong blueprint skills and welding with no supervision
Direct experience with miscellaneous metals is highly preferred
