The Bridge Inspection Team Lead will be responsible for:Conducting inspections of structures in compliance with NBIS, Pub 100A, and Pub 238
Leading the Bridge Inspection Team to ensure accurate completion of structure assessment
Managing the scheduling and coordination of inspection crews to ensure timely completion of inspections, reports, and reviews.
Identifies deficiencies, assesses structure conditions, and accurately codes the structure
Recommending appropriate repairs for identified structure deficiencies
Recording and maintaining thorough documentation of structure conditions using i-forms and BMS2
Compiling field data and conducting load rating analyses
Summarizes the analyses and provides recommendations in the form of a Bridge Load Posting Summary
Supervises and instructs subcontractors for traffic control and rigging
Position Requirements:
CBSI Certification is required
Professional Engineer License is required
Qualified candidates will have experience and be comfortable utilizing various hand tools, ladders, hydraulic man-lifts and/or under-bridge cranes to accurately inspect various sections of structures
A Motor Vehicle Record check is required for this positionQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering; Appropriate graduate level work is preferred.
Minimum of 5 - 9 years of professional experience.
