THE POSITION

Serve as a Windows Senior System Administrator at the RRMC, Blue Ridge Summit, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and managing the functionality and efficiency of multiple Windows-based operating systems and supporting systems within the Operating Environment (OE). Key responsibilities include administration, hardware and software upgrades, backup management, and physical infrastructure installation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide technical support and guidance for the Windows enterprise server and associated client operations, ensuring effective middleware management.

Administer system accounts and maintain documentation while tuning system performance and installing necessary software updates.

Validate and implement critical system patches, manage storage allocation, and diagnose and repair system faults.

Support the customer base by following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for incident and problem management at various support tiers.

Conduct capacity and performance analysis, recommending changes to enhance system stability and performance.

Manage the configuration and operation of information management systems to ensure they are available for mission-critical operations.

Perform network management tasks, including planning, deploying, and troubleshooting network operations for designated systems.

Monitor performance and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place to maintain system integrity.

Maintain an operations log to document significant events and ensure regular testing of backup and restore procedures.

Evaluate software guidelines and project plans, offering resolutions for patch management and system administration.

Use automated tools to improve system administration efficiency and develop procedures to enhance daily operations.

Coordinate system installations and migrations, supporting desktop and virtual client management operations.

Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain data availability through robust backup and disaster recovery plans.

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to be Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) indoctrinated; AND,

Highschool diploma; AND,

DoD 8570 Information Assurance Technical Level II (IAT-II) Certification (CompTIA Security+CE); AND,

5 years of technical experience, providing system and application administration.
