Manager, Solutions ArchitectureThe SAP HANA Architect is responsible for application architecture, data architecture and technical design for high performance and scalability in a distributed, multi-tier and cross-platform environment. This role requires extensive experience in architecting and deploying analytic applications, and must possess hands-on experience in coding, deploying distributed architectures and platforms, creating benchmark tests, designing for scalability and performance, and implementing large-scale 3rd-party vendor systems. It also requires architecture design leadership for various lines of business and enterprise applications that are focused on data management, business intelligence and analytics.Work You'll Do:In your role, you will be responsible for envisioning and developing new digital products. Architect, design, implement world-class products and solutions.
Should be able to understand the functional requirements from the client and appropriately convert them into Technical Design documents.
Designs long-term, reliable, and end-to-end technical architectures.
Participates in collaborative development of data management, business intelligence and analytic architecture standards and best practices and facilitating understanding and adherence to those standards.
Reviews and approves 3rd-party vendor product integration and solution architecture based on established enterprise application strategy.
Provides technical and architecture thought leadership.
Guides creation of project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies and best practices.
Defines technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure solutions result in a coherent systems design.
Applies research and development, prototyping, and vendor evaluations.
Provides support / guidance to development teams during the analysis, development, and testing processes.
Works with business clients and product owners to review business drivers, needs, and strategies to anticipate future business /technology needs.
Communicates implications of architectural decisions, technology costs, benefits and implementation requirements to business and IT Leadership.
Defines and validates non-functional (technical) requirements and establishing traceability between requirements and application architecture/design.
Provides input to the development of project initiation documents including objectives, scope, approach, estimates and deliverables.
Participates in, and leading when needed, production troubleshooting and 'War Room' Activities.
Stays abreast of changes in 3rd-party vendor landscape and providing guidance and input to long-term vendor strategy.

Responsibilities:
Manage clients, complex projects, provide solution architecture insights to enable management of business requirement gathering, scope and client expectations.
Design long-term, reliable, and end-to-end technical architectures. Develop functional architecture design and co-lead product vision along with the Product Manager(s).
Provide design strategy and insights to Product teams on transforming detailed requirements into detailed systems design.
Support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design.
Provide technical support for analysis of business requirements and applicability to the current or planned Platform/Enabler/API Platform capabilities.
Constantly foster an automation mindset in the areas of testing, DevOps & data management.
Participate in E2E functionality assessment during Validation Testing phases (SIT, UAT).
Experience with technical programming; capable of managing and overseeing teams designing, programming, and implementing various technical solutions.
Serve as a technical liaison between the business, project team and developers/testers.
Work with IT infrastructure, Cloud Architecture and DevOps teams to deploy and maintain applications.
Identify and propose cross functional opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications.
5+ years of strong experience in data warehouse application development with solid understanding of advanced analytics concepts is required, with experience in distributed architectures and designing for scalability preferred
Strong understanding of data modeling and data architecture
Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, managing multiple tasks/assignments with staggered due dates and deadlines through effective time management skills.
Ability to identify and communicate issues/risks applying technical and root cause analysis skills is a must.
Must be a self-motivated and pro-active analytics technical leader and possess strong decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work within an agile development environment.

Experience with the following Technologies/Methodologies preferred:
Agile development environment especially SCRUM using SAFe agile methodology.
MS SQL Server, SAP HANA, business intelligence and analytic platforms

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
