South Main Trucking Co. has a current opening at our Greensburg branch for a Mechanic. (M-F). Responsibilities may include: service and repair vehicles, troubleshoot potential mechanical issues, preventative maintenance, and other duties as assigned.Requirements:
-MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
Must have a Class 7 Inspection License
-Must have a Class B Driver’s License
Must be able to Pass the DOT Physical
-Must have a clean driving record.
Previous Diesel experience a must!
-Regularly lift 25-50lbs
-Mechanical troubleshooting skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to perform repair and replacement work including but not limited to oil, tires, brakes, lamps, and various other parts.
-Must pass background check and drug screen
-Electrical knowledge
-Basic computer skills
-Motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
-Willing to learn and expand skill set
-Effective written and verbal communication skills
-Work overtime as required
-Must meet DOT regulatory requirements for operating company or related vehicles
-Familiar with all DOT regulations and truck operations
-Must sign all documentation to meet DOT regulations and company requirements
