Our client is seeking an Assembler on 3rd shift to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting the assembly team. The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Assembler 3rd shiftLocation: Hanover, PAPay Range: $18.50/hourWhat's the Job?

Select component parts to assemble in accordance to the blue prints or instructions, inspect parts for damage and/or imperfections

Ensure tolerances are accurate by using the appropriate indicators such as gages, micrometers, dimentionaire, plug gages, air tools, hand torque, wrenches, job blocks and/or V-blocks

Assemble and fasten components according to plans, maintaining required quality standards

What's Needed?

Communication skills, ability to read, write and comprehend instruction

Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk, reach frequently throughout the workday

Manual dexterity

Experience operating manual/powered pallet jack

As a Baker, this candidate will be responsible for monitoring oven operations through the use of a computer screen. This position will be required to work Sunday-Wednesday 5:55 PM - 5:55 AM. Key Responsibilities Monitors oven operations through the use of a computer screen. Records oven/kiln temperature, measures the caustic percentage of cooker, and makes adjustment within the baking process for superior quality. Documents all required information and downtime; records mixing room climate (temperature/humidity). Monitors assigned lines to enforce proper settings for scheduled pretzel production. Maintains quality by performing tests. Continuously checks conveyors and equipment and communicates issues to supervisor or maintenance. Changes ingredient totes as needed; empties completely and rinses off top before returning to the warehouse. Removes full salt barrels and replaces with empty barrels. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Maintains an organized and sanitary environment performing daily housekeeping in oven room from cooker to end of oven; assists with weekly clean up. Communicates production information to other shifts. Substitutes for Extruder Operator, Extruded Pretzel Dough Mixer, Twister, Proofer, and Mixer for breaks and lunches. Trains inexperienced employees assigned to processing and promotes safe working habits. Requires working proactively in a cross-functional team with diverse groups of people.
