GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

This position is responsible for assisting customers with product purchases, stocking the store, and keeping a clean work environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist customers with purchases (in store, phone, & Facebook).

Ring customers purchases up and collect payment from them.

Put orders away in warehouse.

Fill store displays with product (regular price and sale items) while rotating dates.

Quality check bags when putting out for sale.

Maintain cleanliness of store.

Take and prepare shipping orders.

Mark down plant overruns & close coded product for quick sale.

Develop a strong working knowledge of all products in store.

Follow all safety practices and maintain a safe working environment.

Communicate customer inquiries/complaints in a timely manner.

Take cardboard to bailer.

Take trash to dumpster.

Complete tasks assigned within a reasonable amount of time with accuracy and attention to detail.

Open/close retail store on time.

Excellent people skills.

iPad experience (touch screen).

Participate with physical inventories when required.

May perform other duties as required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred, but not required

Experience: 1-year in a retail environment is preferred, but not required

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The starting rate for this full-time, hourly position is $14.09Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skil s, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
