You will bring to life creative and fun activities for our residents with the help, and approval of our enrichment leaders and staff.We are looking for a positive, compassionate Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team. You would be responsible for scheduling and coordinate programming and events to enhance the lives of our skilled, personal care and memory residents here at Peter Becker Community. The Life Enrichment Assistant will create and manage the coordination for daily, weekly, and monthly events that engage residents in a meaningful way. They will speak to residents to get feedback, utilize volunteers and resources, and deliver fun, safe events while on time and under budget. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about serving our residents, think creatively about different ways to engage residents, and possess excellent people skills to collaborate with the team.Requirements:
High School Diploma
Passion for caring for older adults and creatively engaging them in different ways.
Experience in health care, recreational activities, event planning, or related may be preferred.
Knowledge of dementia and related disorders/diseases preferred.
Schedule requirements:
Ability to work every other weekend and 1 night a week and every other holiday.
Flexibility to accommodate events and special programming.
