THE POSITIONDo you have strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills? If so, the Department of Banking and Securities (DoBS), Customer Services Office wants to speak with you! This position is responsible for answering consumer inquiries and facilitating response to consumer inquiries received at the Department of Banking and Securities (DoBS) through 1-800-PABanks, DoBS Portal, mail, email fax or other venues. DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position communicates orally and in writing with consumers, business entities and/or other agencies and organizations to facilitate response and/or resolution to consumer inquiries, complaints, requests, etc. Analyzes, conducts research, and responds to inquiries, requests, and complaints from consumers and/or business entities. Explains department policies and procedures to consumers and business entities. Escalates issues as deemed appropriate and as they arise. Pivots and prioritizes the handling of consumer cases in order to address issues as deemed appropriate and necessary.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

Telework:Eligible employees may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:Most employees will start at the beginning level of the advertised salary.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Post Employment Requirement:

Possess and maintain either a REAL ID or passport to travel or enter a federal building for work.Other Requirements:
