Manage compliance for Meta's Reality Labs (RL) Privacy Operations.

Interact with product, business, legal, and engineering teams across RL to develop deep insights and drive improvements into the mechanics of how teams incorporate compliance and privacy-by-design into operations and product life cycles.

Synthesize various requirements and priorities into a unified actionable roadmap for RL privacy compliance milestones and drive the execution across cross-functional teams.

Create clear and concise technical and business requirements for product and engineering teams to enable the automation of privacy controls and compliance obligations.

Develop long-term objectives of how we will evolve privacy controls while delivering on immediate priorities.

Provide guidance to product, business, and engineering teams on complying with the Privacy Program and its day-to-day objectives.

Translate legal and privacy regulatory requirements to product and engineering teams leveraging a user first mindset to enable automation and compliance by design.

Serve as a trusted partner working cross-functionally with product, business, legal, and engineering teams building a deep understanding of how they work, their needs, and how privacy compliance can be operationalized into their teams.

Apply their expertise in information technology during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases of technical Compliance projects.

Gather business requirements from key stakeholders and convert them to technical requirements, managing prioritization with the engineering teams.

Work closely with Meta's product and engineering teams to define team needs, metrics, and key performance indicators.

Articulate the technology, requirements, goals and milestones of the team.

Provide hands- on project management during all phases of the IT project lifecycle (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases) with an emphasis on communication to project sponsors, stakeholders and project teams.

Complete root cause analysis of different workflows in order to quantify problems, goals, and identify priorities.

Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and ensure user privacy is not compromised.

Position includes 15% domestic travel.

Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics or related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 3 years of experience in the following:

Product or program management

Delivering tech programs or products from inception to delivery across organizations

Compliance experience including conducting periodic internal and external reviews or company audits to ensure that the firm is compliant with laws, rules and regulations

Regulatory knowledge including developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies, and evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously

Technical expertise including Data Life Cycle Management, Dashboarding, Data Analysis, SQL, and Database Management

Risk management including revising procedures and reports periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues

Stakeholder management including liaising with management to collate the expectations of key stakeholders to ensure that the processes of the organization consider the needs of its stakeholders

Communicating with XFN partners and influencing decisions

Identifying problems, analyzing, and developing effective solutions

Adapting to new situations, environments, and demands.
