C&Z Construction is hiring Demolition Laborer/Drivers to support fire and restoration projects in the field. This role is ideal for someone looking to get into construction and build a long-term career by learning how structures are built from the ground up.Growth Opportunity - After 12 months of strong performance and demonstrated work ethic, you may be promoted to a Carpenter Helper position. From there, you will begin learning carpentry skills with the goal of advancing into a Lead Carpenter.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Perform demolition and removal of fire and water damaged materialsAssist with job site setup and cleanupSupport carpenters and project teamsHandle tools and materials safelyAssist with contents handling, including moving, packing, and organizing customer belongingsParticipate in emergency response services and on call rotation as neededMaintain clean and organized job sitesPerform other duties as assigned to support the team and project completionQualified applicants need to have a valid driver's license with prior history of operating commercial vehicles.  No prior industry experience is needed, but tolerance for labor intensive work in less-than-ideal environments is required. You must be able to lift and maneuver items of at least 75 pounds regularly. You will climb and descend stairs and ladders multiple times a day. Tasks include repetitive bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and working in tight or awkward spaces. You must maintain the stamina for continuous physical labor throughout the day, including walking, carrying materials, and performing tasks safely and efficiently. Serving others after a disaster has struck their property is not easy.
