A designated team of service engineers, technical account managers, and product authorities provides highly engineered solutions—including validated methods; standard methodologies; and proactive, personalized assistance—to help ensure continual operational improvement, smoother upgrades, higher system availability, and better overall system performance. The result is a distinctly superior Oracle ownership experience. Depending on the chosen level of service engagement, customers can customize the scope and frequency of these flexible offerings to match their specific business needs. This highly engineered approach to continual operational improvements helps customers extract more value from their Oracle systems—with greater speed and less disruption to their business.As the CSS Sales Rep; you’ll be responsible for closing service engagements within a defined set of accounts, selling to Government and Education Accounts with up to 40% travel.#LI-VC7Career Level - IC4ResponsibilitiesSell advanced customer support services to existing Oracle customers in State and Local Governments and Education (SLED) accounts. Service products include fixed scope optimization services, time and material services, annual service request management services, and managed services. The sales representative primarily finds new customers and generates new business. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.Qualifications

Possess strategic account planning and effective presentation skills over Web Conference and in person.

Collaboration skills with both internal and external partners.

Possess extensive knowledge of consultative selling of strategic service solutions within commercial accounts.

Be a “hunter” with a proven track record to gain immediately creditability with C-level executives.

May be eligible for equity. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
