Bring your innovative and organizational talents to our team and apply today!DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Procurement Specialist 2, you will work independently and perform advanced procurement assignments to include analyzing and developing bid specifications, conducting extensive research, evaluating bid responses, strategic sourcing, negotiating and administering agency service and information technology (IT) contracts, and implementing corrective actions for non-compliance. Excellent interpersonal skills are vital in order to collaborate within the procurement division team to develop and assist with procurement related training initiatives, as well as network with program managers to develop work statements, and provide technical assistance regarding scope of services, work requirements, and specifications to ensure all potential variables are considered.Interested in learning more? Full-time employment

Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience as a Procurement Specialist 1 (commonwealth title); or

One year of professional experience performing contract management work; and a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, logistics, project, or operations management, or a related field; or

An equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:
